Rather than just sitting around bitching about how Bush screwed the pooch on this one, I want to get out my checkbook. I have given some money already to the Red Cross, but I hear persistent negative rumors about administrative costs, bureacracy, and what not.
I'd like to know whether people have fact-based opinions about good disaster relief charities to give to that are assisting in the Katrina effort.
And don't tell me to give to Operation Blessing. That's Pat Robertson's "charity"!
